17th June 2008:

Recently we have had some great groups on site. On Father's Day a lad and his father spent the entire weekend camping lakeside hunting for our big carp. They had an excellent weekend although the "big boys" managed to avoid their hooks. Nevertheless they had a great time and some excellent fishing. Photos of their catch will be available as soon as we receive them, in the meantime have a look at their written report in our fishing reports section - Fishing Reports.

26th May 2008:

We currently have 2 groups on site fishing who have braved the weather and it is looking like their gamble is paying off. The forecast for the morning is dry and sunshine. There is still time to join them, call now for very late notice offers (01823) 421630

14th May 2008 Site Report:

We currently have 3 guys fishing on site who just can not get enough of the gorgeous weather we are having or of the quality of the fish that they are catching. Out this week have been some excellent carp some up to double figures, perch, roach, tench and bream. So far they have suffered one broken pole due to the weight of the fish on the end! Everyone has had continuously successful days and the compliments have been flowing on the quality of the fish and the fishing.

We increased the water flow into the valley lake earlier in the week that has created some brilliant fishing conditions although the guys have been getting frustrated with the fact that they can now see the big ones cruising past their rod tips but somehow avoiding their hooks!
